About the Database
The database will be used to create visualizations of attendance data. To use, the user must check the boxes of the information they want to include in the visualization. Once the user presses submit, they will be led to a webpage that features a table that includes all the data related to the marked checkboxes. Finally, the user will choose what type of attendance they want: girls, parents, or others. Once the form is submitted, they will be lead to a visualization of the data they chose.
Under the results page, at least one checkbox needs to be checked to receive results. The main form does not require any; it will just feature all the data.
Data Dictionary:
Other in Programming: Data that did not fit under any of the programming types.
Other in Attendance: Data that did not fit under "Girls" or "Parents."
Notice:
The Latinitas Visual Database is still under construction.
Things that will be added include:
- Adding more data as it becomes available.
- Adding semester as a time measurement to check club attendance.
- Adding a way to search through locations that isn't Austin or El Paso.
